Kasumi school festival

Before i'm off to 'English village' over the weekend, i wanted to post some pictures from last weekend when we had a school festival. We baked cookies and made Thai green curry that we sold, and made a profit of 104 000 yen!

// This is what we had to wear in the kitchen when baking ^^
Josephine visar upp nybakta kokostoppar, medan Rebecca ser lite misstänksam ut

Even though it was a lot of work to bake cookies for many many hours two nights in a row, and then hang around the festival area, it was a lot of fun. On Sunday when i had my shift it was raining unfortunately, but a lot of people still came! Now i have to run to the bus soon and go away up the mountains somewhere.

  1. Hey Viktoria, was that school festival also called "kengakusai"? Because it looks exactly like the Kengakusai we had at our university in Japan back then and we were also forced(!) to do some German cooking. I'm glad you had a lot of fun because my friend and I hated the whole thing we had to cook for 4 days in a row and sell at daylight, it was so stressful! xD Cookies might've been a good idea but we needed to cook some "real" dish which took an awful amount of time ;_; I'm really surprised but it seem these kind of festivals are held on November in almost every university, I didn't expect that! :) Love the wrapping, is it from Daiso? I'm pretty sure we almost used the exact same wrapping for our cookies then XD Have a good time! <3

    1. Hey! Yeah it was called that, so i bet it's exactly the same thing! I'm sorry to hear that, it sounds like so much work ;_; I think we were lucky to have so many people to help, but i will say that we were complaining a lot, because you just get so exhausted from the whole thing, right?
Haha yeah, it's from Daiso ^^ Thank you!
