Hanabi at Kashiihama

Det har varit hemskt stressigt de senaste veckorna, så jag har inte haft ork att uppdatera. Skolan är slut, de flesta har redan åkt hem, och jag ska åka till Okinawa om en halvtimme för att möta upp Ninlil! Men innan jag åker tänkte jag att jag skulle lägga upp lite bilder från när vi utbytesstudenter hade hanabi, tomtebloss och grejer, nere på stranden här i Kashii tillsammans med våra faddrar.

// I have been crazy busy the last couple of week, so i haven't had time to update. But school here in Japan is now over, most of the others have already gone home or are traveling, and i'm going to Okinawa in 30 minutes to meet up with Ninlil!
But before i leave i wanted to post some pictures from when us exchange students did hanabi, fireworks, down at the beach here in Kashii together with our supporters.

När vi skulle gå hem började det spöregna! Så vi var tvungna att gömma oss under ett litet tak.
// When we were going home it started pouring down! So we had to hide under a little roof

 

Evening view over Kashiihama + Summer festival

För några dagar sen tog jag, Stephanie och Kelly en promenad vid havet i skymningen, det är rätt fint här ändå.

// A few days ago me, Stephanie and Kelly took a walk by the ocean at dusk, it's kind of nice here.

Sen var vi också ett gäng som var iväg på en skolfestival som skolan här bredvid hade på kvällen. De andra hade på sig yukata, men jag trodde inte jag hade tid, vilket det visade sig att jag hade haha. Aja, nästa gång.

// Then a group of us went to a school festival that the school next to us had arranged during the evening. The others wore yukata, but i didn't think i had time, which i actually had in the end haha. Oh well, next time.

Fukuoka Tower

Igår spenderade jag dagen med min värdfamilj. Vi åt lunch, sen åkte vi upp i Fukuoka tower som hade väldigt tjusig utsikt, och efter det åkte vi till ett ställe där vi fick prova på bland annat en orkansimulator och en jordbävningssimulator. Jag och äldsta dottern satte oss vid bordet till jordävningssimulatorn och provade en 7:a på Richterskalan. Hoppas jag slipper uppleva en sån jordbävning kan jag säga.

// Yesterday i spent the day with my host family. We had lunch, then went up in Fukuoka tower and checked out the nice view, and after that we went to a place where we got to try out, among other things, a typhoon simulator and a earthquake simulator. Me and the oldest daugther sat down by the table for the earthquake simulator and decided to try out a 7 on the Richer scale. I hope i never have to experience that in real life.

Nokonoshima with my parents

När Linnea var här och hälsade på så åkte vi till Nokonoshima som var hemskt vackert med alla blommande körsbärsträd och det stora fältet med gula blommor. Så jag ville ta med mina föräldrar dit också när de var och hälsade på, och det var minst lika vackert denna gång!
De planterar olika sorters blommor där beroende på årstid, så man kan åka dit alla årstider och se vackra fält av blommor!

// When Linnea was here visiting we went to Nokonoshima wich was so beautiful with all the blooming cherry trees and the big field with yellow flowers. So i wanted to bring my parents there when they came to visit, and it was just as beautiful this time!
They plant different kinds of flowers depending on the season, so you can always go there and enjoy fields of flowers!

Vi möttes i stan och hade himla tur med vädret!
// We met up in town and were so lucky with the weather!

Tog tunnelbanan till Meinohama och gick till hamnen för att ta färjan över till Nokonoshima
// Took the subway to Meinohama and walked to the harbour to take the ferry to Nokonoshima

Zoo & Marinoa City with Ayaka!

Igår morse mötte jag upp med Ayaka vid tågstation för att åka till Fukuoka city zoological garden, som visade sig vara ett mycket större zoo än vi trott, med en botanisk trädgård också. Vi spenderade några timmar där, kollade på djuren och blommorna och åt glass.
Sen åkte vi vidare till Marinoa City, som är ett jättestort shoppingcenter med outlet butiker. Jag hittade lite fina saker, men allt var lite för dyrt då jag försöker spara pengar, så det blev inga inköp.

// Yesterday morning me and Ayaka met up at the train station and went to the Fukuoka city zoological garden, which turned out to be much bigger than we expected, and also had a botanical garden. We spent some hours there watching the animals and flowers and ate some ice cream.
After that we went to Marinoa City, which is a huge shopping centre with lots out outlet stores. I found some nice things, but it was a little too expencive and i'm trying to save money, so i didn't buy anything in the end.

Han kanske borde ha spanat efter ett lite bekvämare ställe att sova på ^^

Then we ate monjayaki, it was very nice!
