Monday, tuesday and thursday

I think the people of our town is pretty tired today! So many people have now been partying since last friday, because of the annual festival and all the beer tent by the lake (i have no idea how to explain that in english haha). I went out on monday and met up with Malin and her friends in town. We went to a couple of tent, i had not been drinking enough to dance with all the creepy people though ;P

Jag tror de flesta i Östersund är rätt trötta idag! Så många verkar ha festat sen förra fredagen ungefär, på grund av Storsjöyran och Krogstråket innan den. Jag gick ut i måndags med Malin och hennes vänner. Vi besökte en par tält, och jag insåg snabbt att jag inte hade druckit nog för att dansa med allt läskigt folk ;P

The day after i went back home again, and went to our cabin for a while with my parents. We're re-painting the porch and stuff at the moment.

Dagen efter åkte jag hem igen och följde med mina föräldrar en sväng till stugan. Vi håller på att måla om verandan och grejer just nu. Mycket välbehövt.

I was actually gonna go out on wednesday as well, but my cold had gotten worse again, so i felt i should stay at home instead and maybe i'd feel better on thursday instead. Woke up on thursday and felt even worse. But i reallt wanted to hang out with all my friends, so i went with my brother into town anyways. Had a great night too, even though we missed the carnivale with like ten minutes haha..

Jag hade egentligen tänkt gå ut i onsdags också, men eftersom min förkylning hade blivit värre så stannade jag hemma istället. Tänkte att jag kanske skulle må bättre på torsdagen istället då. Vaknade i torsdags och mådde ännu sämre. Men jag ville verkligen träffa alla vänner, så jag åkte in till stan med min bror iaf. Hade en riktigt trevlig kväll, även fast vi missade tivolit med typ tio minuter haha..

 I actuallt decided to not go to the actual festival this year. Even though there was some band that i wanted to see. But it's quite expensive and i didn't really feel like it. I've been going to that festival every summer since i was like 11 or something. Even when i lived in Japan i came home over the summer and went to it! But i don't regret it. It rained all through saturday and Anneli came over and we watched some Vampire diaries, Drive and ofc Dirty Dancing haha

Jag bestämde mig faktiskt för att inte gå på Storsjöyran iår. Även fast det fanns några band jag ville se och så. Men det är ju rätt dyrt, och jag kände inte riktigt för det. Jag har gått på Yran varje sommar sen jag var 11 år ungefär. Till och med när jag bodde i Japan kom jag hem över sommaren och gick på det! Men jag ångrar mig inte. Det regnade hela lördagen och Anneli kom hit. Vi kollade på lite Vampire diaries, Drive och såklart Dirty Dancing haha

So I decided to go out tonight even though I have a cold. It's like the only time of the year that something's happening in this town so ^^

Pastel pink wig

So remember a while ago when i said i bought a pastel pink wig? Well, i've had it for quite some time now, but i'm not sure what i think about it. It might be a bit too pale pink for my taste, or maybe it might look better in the winter when my skin is paler again ^^  The quality is nice though, and there's a looot of hair!

För ett tag sen nämnde jag att jag köpt en rosa peruk, vet inte om nån kommer ihåg detta nu. Jag har iaf haft den ett bra tag nu men jag är inte riktigt säker vad jag tycker om den. Den kanske är lite för ljusrosa för min smak, eller så kanske det ser bättre ut i vinter när jag är blek som ett lakan igen ^^ Kvalitén verkar bra dock, och det är himla mycket hår!

Hanging out with Maja

My dearest friend Maja is back in the north for a few weeks, so i'm taking every chance a get to see her. We barely see each other any more, since we live so far apart, and train tickets a freaking axpensive in Sweden! D: The summer is still crappy.. Like 14 degrees, rain and really windy. So when the sun is out you have to run outside! Haha.. So thats what we did. We decided last night to go to her family's like summer house and use their sauna by the lake. It was so great! Haven't used a sauna in years. And the best thig is, you can just throw your towel and run out into the lake whenever you feel like it's too hot. Trust me, the lake is not!

Min fina vän Maja är hemma i norr i några veckor, så jag passar på att träffa henne så fort jag kan. Vi ses inte så ofta längre eftersom hon bor i Uppsala och jag antingen här uppe eller i Lund, och tågbiljetter är ju inte så vidare billiga direkt.. D: Sommaren är ju fortfarande sämst, verkar vara så i hela Sverige? Så när solen kommer fram får man skynda sig att springa ut! Haha.. Så det var det vi gjorde igår ungefär. Vi bestämde oss för att åka till deras typ sommarställe en bit från där de bor och bada bastu! Har inte bastat på flera år, det var riktigt härligt! Det bästa är att bastun ligger precis vid sjön, så när det blir för varmt är det bara att kasta av handduken och springa i sjön. För sjön är ju allt annat än varm!

Tomorrow i'm going out with Anneli. They're opening up a lot of bar tents by the lake in town as they do every summer before the festival in town next week, and we're gonna go visit some ^^ So i might post something else than nature pics then ;P

Katarina's birthday party with 60s theme

Last friday Katarina had her birthday, so on saturday it was birthday party time! It was 60s theme, i don't know how many of you who watch Mad Men, but that was kind of the inspiration. It was really fun, i really like the 60s style. Would have been great to live then! Because of the style then, would never have managed to lived with the way they treated women haha ;P

We first celebrated at Katarina's place, and then we went into town. Went to both Brunkullan and The Bishops Arms. I really had a lot of fun! Here's some more pics from the night!

Sorry for the low update! I actually wrote this post on yesterday morning right before me and my brother were going into town with the bus. But then i suddenly realized that we had to leave in three minutes so i didn't have time to post it, since my old computer is so so slow haha. We only have one bus on saturdays that goes into town, and that leaved at 9am, oh the joy!

Anyways, Me, Patrik, Katarina, Klara and James spent last sunday trough tuesday in our cabin (summer house, lake house what ever you're supposed to call it). They wanted to record "Jämtlandssången" and i tagged along. So we spent those days recording the song wich is a local song about the area in Sweden where we live and also grilled - a lot! and doing big hair. So here's some pictures! (i know it's quite similar to my last post, but yeah..)

Nu har jag varit sådär dålig på att uppdatera igen, sorry! Jag skrev egentligen det här inlägget igår morse innan jag och min bror skulle åka in med bussen till stan, men så såg jag att jag bara hade tre minuter tills vi var tvungna att gå så jag hann aldrig publicera det med min sega gamla dator haha. Vi har ju bara en buss in till stan på lördagar, och den går klockan nio på morgonen, yay!

Hursomhelst, Jag, Patrik, Katarina, Klara och James spenderade förra söndan till tisdan i vår stuga. De ville spela in Jämtlandssången och jag hängde på. Så vi spenderade de dagarna med att spela in den, grilla massor och göra stora frisyrer. Så här är lite bilder! (jag vet att det är lite samma som mitt förra inlägg men..)

We recorded us girls' vocals until like 6.30 - 7 am, looked like this outside when we went to bed

James found this little bird that had fallen out of his nest and was being attacked by ants before we left on tuesday D: Poor birdy. We put him in that birds nest that we found last time (did not touch him ofc), his mom actually came and fed him! Felt so sorry for him when we left him though ;_;
